πŸ•ΈπŸ•· It's Halloween Time! πŸ•·πŸ•Έ

Happy October, everyone! I love October, from the changing leaves, to the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, to the cute decorations everywhere! I tell ya, there are so many cute ideas for Halloween and Fall decorations, and not enough time to make everything! This last little while, I made some cloth pumpkins. They didn't turn out quite as well as the ones on Pinterest, but I'm still pretty happy with them!

I'm excited to see all the cute little kids dressed up! Sadly, we live in a place that doesn't get a lot of trick-or-treaters, so maybe we'll watch a scary movie that night (PS if you have any suggestions for a good scary movie for future years, please let me know in the comments). Because there won't be many (if any) trick-or-treaters, I might just have to eat all the candy myself! And that is just fine with me!

I remember the first scary movie I ever watched was The Sixth Sense. I highly recommend it, but it is quite scary in my opinion. But one of my best scary-movie-memories is of one year, when I was 13 or 14, me and my sister had a scary movie night with a bunch of our girl friends, and we watched The Woman in Black. So many high voices screaming all at once, so many times! Then watching it again this year, knowing what was coming but not knowing when, might have actually been more intense than the first time! I'm a chicken though, so I have to limit myself to one scary movie a year, just at Halloween time. Good thing I have a sweet hubby willing to cuddle me when I watch scary movies.

A few weeks ago, my cute husband and I went up the canyon and collected fall leaves! It was so fun, and the weather was so great! There were so many pretty leaves, and not to mention I was with the most handsome guy. I am so glad I have such a great adventure buddy for life. October is also great because that is the month that me and my hubby were sealed to each other forever. We are now one month into our forever, and we are loving it!

With October comes all sorts of goodies! It's almost time for hot cocoa and biscotti (I love biscotti! I bought several different boxes a while back to prepare!), and you also get the delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! Those are one of the best cookies to ever be invented, and sadly they are not as readily available any other time of the year.

I hope you all have a great Halloween and an awesome November! I'm working on a painting right now that I am hoping to get posted soon for you all to see!

A little about this drawing:

I chose to post this drawing because, with the Halloween season and all, I wanted to post something as scary or creepy as possible. This is the best I have in that genre, and I had forgotten about it until I was looking through all my old work the other day. I forgot how much I liked this drawing! It's better in person, but this picture will have to do. I think I might have actually drawn this piece during Halloween-time!

This is a charcoal drawing that I did in my high school drawing class. The drawing itself is about  14"x20". We were assigned to draw something that created some sort of emotion or feeling, and I really wanted to try drawing something creepy. I don't know how well this goal worked out, I'll let you decide that for yourself; some people have said it looks creepy, others have said it is cute. So mixed responses, but either way, I am very happy with how it turned out!
